テクスチャとUV座標を1枚のテクスチャにグリッド状にまとめるBlenderアドオンです。1枚のテクスチャに統合することで3Dモデルのマテリアル数が減るため、処理の負荷が減ります。複数のマテリアルを1つのマテリアルにまとめたい人におすすめです。 Blender addon to create texture atlas. This is recommend for people needing a integrated texture from some textures.

詳細
複数の画像 (テクスチャ) をグリッド状に並べて、1枚の画像として出力します。 テクスチャと3Dモデルの対応関係 (UV座標) も同様に並べ替えます。 見せたい部分の面積を大きく出来るのが特徴です。
開発動機
Unityなどのゲームエンジンではとにかく処理速度が求められるのですが、その対策として使用するマテリアル数を減らすのが有効です。その際に複数オブジェクトのテクスチャを1枚にしておくことが必要となります。 また、VRoid Studio製アバターはバーチャルSNSのclusterのアバター制限に引っかかりやすいため、その対策にも有効です。 - VRoid Studio https://vroid.com/ - cluster https://cluster.mu/
