The winged people, Sils, had a peaceful time, but were threatened by an empire that suddenly appeared. Sils's child, Neun, leaves the village with his childhood friend Zehn. Chased by Imperial soldiers, Zehn takes the place of Neun and becomes an unknown illness, "Dollsickness." After escaping, he meets Umikaze Kei and Neun decides to join the resistance army and save Zehn. They go on the battlefield to get information about Dollsickness.
