How I cured my exfoliative cheilitis in 2 years
- Digital2,000 JPY

At the end of 2018 I developed a lip disease called exfoliative cheilitis. What kind of cheilitis is this? It is a cheilitis in which the lips become severely inflamed and hard and large pressure ulcers form. It is very difficult to heal and some people suffer from the symptoms for several years or even decades. Also, since the lips are the most visible part of the face, many people suffer from mental illness at the same time. There seems to be very few cases and not many dermatologists are aware of it. I was fortunate to be almost completely cured in about two years. I will discuss the symptoms from onset to healing in chronological order, with pictures, in the hope that it will be helpful to those who suffer from cheilitis exfoliativa. Finally, I summarize what helped with the healing process and how I am currently living my life.
