【distance – ディスタンス】

― 近づくほどに、世界は色を変える ― もう、十分に仲が良い。 毎日のように話して、笑って、安心できる距離にいる。 それなのに、 ほんの一歩が踏み出せない。 近づくほどに、この関係が変わってしまう気がして。 壊したくない気持ちと、抑えきれない想いが、胸の中で静かに揺れている。 このリングは、 そんなもどかしい距離感をかたちにしたデザインです。 中央にはハートシェイプの宝石を。 その左右には、お互いを映すようなラウンドカットの宝石が、 少しずつ、でも確かに近づいていく配置で留められています。 ラウンド宝石を包むアウトラインも、 よく見ると、さりげなくハートの輪郭を描いています。 はっきりと言葉にできない想い。 でも、気持ちはもう、どこかでシンクロしている。 上品さの中に、ほんの少しの気恥ずかしさと甘さを残した、 繊細でストーリー性のあるリングです。

このデザインを考えていた時、 「友達」という言葉の、少し危うい優しさを思い浮かべていました。 居心地が良すぎて、 失う未来の方が、手に入れる未来よりも怖くなる瞬間。 でも本当は、 もう心は、同じ方向を向いているんじゃないか。 そう感じてしまった時点で、 距離はきっと、もう変わり始めているのだと思います。 このリングは、 無理に背中を押すためのものではありません。 ただ、 「勇気を持ってもいいかもしれない」 そう思えた瞬間を、そっと肯定するためのものです。 近づくほどに、 世界は、少しだけ色を変える。 その変化を、 怖がらなくていいと思えますように。
