フィレンツェの木象嵌職人、望月貴文氏とのコラボレーション作品「契花百菊」https://tamurayoshiyasu.com/painting-works-on-canvasと、同じ下絵から描いたカンバス絵画。 木象嵌とカンバスの質感の違いを際立たせることを狙い制作しました。 中原淳一の考案による「新日本髪」より「はつ春の髪」からヘアスタイルを引用し、 スミソニアン博物館から無料公開されている明治期の木版画集「契花百菊」より引用した菊とともに描きました。 かつては一般に目にすることは非常に難しかった希少本「契花百菊」がインターネットで閲覧できる現代性と、フィレンツェの伝統技法、新日本髪など、さまざまな時代の要素を混淆させることを意図しました。 額縁も作家の手による特製です。 目立ったキズ・汚れは見当たりませんが、完全にクリンナップされた状態の絵画をお望みの方、過度に神経質な方はご遠慮ください。 エアキャップでの簡易ですが厳重な梱包で発送します どうぞ宜しくお願いします This piece, “Keika Hyakukiku”, is a collaborative work with Florentine wood inlay artisan Takafumi Mochizuki. It is a canvas painting created from the same preliminary sketch as our joint wood inlay work “Keika Hyakukiku”. The intention was to highlight the contrast between the textures of wood inlay and painted canvas. The hairstyle is adapted from “Hatsu Haru no Kami” in Jun’ichi Nakahara’s concept of Shin-Nihongami (“New Japanese Hairstyles”), while the chrysanthemums are quoted from Keika Hyakukiku, a collection of Meiji-period woodblock prints that has been made freely available by the Smithsonian Museum. By blending the modern accessibility of a once-rare book, traditional Florentine craftsmanship, and elements such as Shin-Nihongami, the work seeks to fuse motifs from different eras. The frame has also been specially crafted by the artist. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please refrain from purchasing if you require a perfectly pristine piece or are excessively sensitive to minor imperfections. The painting will be shipped with careful yet simple protective packaging using bubble wrap.
