This time, the photos are 20 pictures of the samurai residences in Akita Prefecture, Japan. The Samurai Residence Street in Kakunodate, Semboku City, Akita Prefecture, preserves the townscape of the Edo period. Rows of black wooden fences and stately gates remain, and the area is designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Visitors can tour residences such as the Ishiguro and Aoyagi families, where samurai armor, historical documents, and gardens are on display. In spring, the weeping cherry blossoms bloom, while autumn brings vivid foliage and winter offers serene snow-covered scenery, each season showcasing its own charm. We offer illustration-style images based on these photos as free materials for your use. Please feel free to make use of them. Copyright is not waived, but credit is optional.
