Frogs, snakes, and other creatures that live in wetlands. Plants, fruits, vegetables, and spirits that carry the power of nature. And even a monster born from a girl with a tragic past, fused with plants... Final finishing and quality adjustments are done by hand. ◆ Development Notes (Why I made this) This is a new insect, plant, and nature-themed monster pack after a little while. In the past, many insect- and nature-themed assets tended to have a more comical or cute feeling. They worked well for brighter RPGs and casual games, but I felt that they were sometimes harder to use in more realistic, serious, or dark fantasy worlds. For this volume, I decided to take the theme in a darker direction. By giving familiar insects and plants a slightly darker setting, where they have been tainted by “magical poison” and transformed into strange monsters, I wanted to create an asset pack that would fit more naturally into serious fantasy worlds. The character names shown in the reference hero mockups are based on their visual concepts, but please feel free to give them your own original names to match your world and lore!
