Asset Management Tool📚 TynveilImportManager [T.I.M]

-------------------- VRC Asset Management Tool This tool was designed for users who customize and manage multiple avatars within the same Unity project. It allows you to visually organize and manage your assets without moving any folders or files from their original locations. Of course, it is also suitable for projects that contain only one avatar. Within the tool, you can classify assets, add them to Favorites, and organize them by category in an intuitive way. Potentially risky folders are automatically protected, helping reduce the chances of accidentally breaking your project. The completed version is also designed to work comfortably as an alternative to Unity's Project tab. The completed version will be released on September 28. A free trial version will be available for three days starting September 25. Please feel free to try the beta version first and consider purchasing the completed version afterward. Horizontal layout support is available from the completed version onward. The completed version will be available for ¥500 during the one-week launch sale starting September 28. From October 5, the regular price will be ¥1,000. If you encounter any bugs or other issues, I would greatly appreciate it if you could join the official Discord server and contact me through the Discord group.

Development Environment & Recommended System Requirements

This tool was developed and tested using the recommended Unity version for VRChat avatar customization. Unity 2022.3.22f1 <DX11> The tool may also work with other Unity versions, but those environments are not officially supported and are outside the scope of guaranteed operation and technical support. GPT was used as part of the development process. GPT assisted with code creation and organization, while the author was responsible for the specifications, concepts, overall design, adjustments, and all final decisions regarding the code and implementation. Before release, the tool underwent thorough testing with the help of five testers to ensure stable operation. Please feel free to use it with confidence.

How to Use

After Installation After importing the tool, open it from the top Unity menu by selecting: Tools > Tynveil Atelier > Import Manager Once the window opens, dock it wherever you prefer and use it from there. Depending on the state of your Unity project, there are two possible cases after importing the tool. If you import it into a completely fresh project with no existing assets, no special setup is required. If your project already contains multiple avatars, outfits, or other assets, a classification tab will appear when the tool is imported. You can begin organizing your assets from there. If the classification tab does not appear, open the Settings tab and press: “Scan Assets and Add to Unclassified” This will register the folder information in the tool and allow you to begin classifying your assets. Classified In the Classified tab, you can create your own category folders and freely organize folders into them. For supported assets, you can also register their BOOTH URL and retrieve thumbnails, making them easier to recognize at a glance. Shop Folders Folders registered as Shop Folders are displayed here as a list. It is recommended to register the parent folder that contains an avatar, outfit, or other related product folders. Presets You can register objects from the Hierarchy and later place them back into the Hierarchy. For example, you can register a customized avatar exactly as it is, then use that saved state as a default starting point for a new customization. Incoming This tab displays folders that have not yet been classified. From here, you can register folders as Shop Folders, classify them, or move them to Other. Folders that were skipped during import are also placed here. Other Use this section for files or folders that you do not normally work with, but still want the tool to treat as already organized. For example, I use this category for things such as: “Files I do not edit myself, are not really assets, but are still required by the project.” Protected Folders Folders that may break the project if moved in Unity’s Project tab, as well as folders that affect Unity or the project environment, are automatically registered here. Folders registered as Protected Folders cannot be moved through this tool. ★ Favorites You can add an asset to Favorites by pressing the ★ icon in the upper-right corner of each asset. This is useful for keeping frequently used assets together in one place. Settings The Settings tab allows you to adjust how the tool looks, change and register themes, and manage cache-related data. For safety reasons, a full reset function is intentionally not provided.

Changelog

Changelog 2026/09/25　v0.21 Beta Trial version. Horizontal layout is not yet supported. Classification is handled in a separate tab, while Favorites are registered directly in place. The Save button does not visually change after being pressed, which may make it difficult to tell whether the action was completed. This version also includes fewer color themes, does not support custom themes, and contains simplified or reduced versions of various other features. 2026/09/28　v1.00 Completed release version. Added support for horizontal layout. Classification, Favorites management, custom theme creation, and other related functions can now all be handled within a single tab. Sidebar behavior has also been improved to make navigation and the overall interface easier to understand. Many other features and usability improvements have been added throughout the tool. 2026/10/07　v1.1 Added additional language support. In addition to Japanese, the tool now supports English, Korean, and Chinese. A new startup setup screen has also been added, allowing initial configuration to be completed more easily. World-related classification options have been added as well, making the tool suitable not only for avatar projects, but also for a wider range of projects, including VRChat world projects.
