Update 4.2 adds the Blaze Reap artifact along with many improvements to Riko's model and new features to her VRChat version! Since update 4.0 nearly everything was remade from scratch emphasizing quality and rigging for animation. Please look at the Changelog below for more info! This model has many fun features thanks to Avatar Dynamics! Light your way with Riko's headlamp or have your friends give you a nice head pat~ But don't let them pull on your hair because Riko might not like it~ Her clothes rustle and bob as she moves, and every layer she wears can be toggled to fit the situation. In the Creator Companion create a new Unity 2022 Avatar Project. Make sure to Use VRChat SDK - Base / Avatars versions 3.10.1 2. Import lilToon Shader version 2.3.2 or above 3. Import Crystal Shader 4. Import this Unity Package 5. Select Riko in the Hierarchy, then go to the VRChat SDK side panel, login and select the Builder tab 6. Give Riko her name, add a description, select a thumbnail (there's one provided), check the checkbox then click Build & Publish and have fun! Blaze Reap: To use the Blaze Reap in VR, you can grab it from your back by moving your right hand over your left shoulder to the handle and use the "Fist" gesture. Alternatively, you can toggle it in the menu. To place it back on your back, simply move your hand over your left shoulder and release the "Fist" gesture. The Blaze Reap will be back on your back~ There is also a toggle to Fold it up or Unfold like in the anime series with more features to come in future updates. Changelog: January 26th (01/26/2026) v5.1: This update includes a few essential tweaks if you wish to get the Deviless Outfit addon. It's almost here! ・Added "Hips Squish, Legs shrink, Toe Shrink" shape keys. Mainly meant for the Deviless and future outfits. ・Fixed the View Position placement. It was way too deep inside Riko's head (thanks Clockbird) ・Removed duplicate Head, Body Scar, and Body OUH Scar materials and textures. Riko's face and arm scars now use additional material detail layers instead of duplicating the same material. This is a win for performance. January 9th (01/09/2026) v5.0: This update adds a new hairstyle and makes Riko's Hair, Outfit, and Gear system modular. Expect cool things very soon! ・Added a new hairstyle. Let her beautiful hair flow in the wind! ・Riko's hair mesh is now modular. This allows you to mix and match various hairstyles together ・Reworked the hair, outfit, and gear system for future DLC's and updates. This should also make it a lot easier for you to add custom outfits and props using Modular Avatar or VRCFury ・Improved the shading around the neck and head. The transition from light to shadow is now much smoother (Thanks Lithum) ・Adjusted the shape of Rikos glasses. Thinned the bezels while the lenses are slightly bigger and wider ・Added one new shape key "Eyes Glee" and fixed the 'Shrink Hand' shape key affecting the upper arms ・Fixed invalid parent constraints in Blazereap's Blaze_Back and Blaze_Hand animations (Thanks kayonishino) ・Fixed anchor overrides, this makes the brightness unified across Riko's every mesh ・Fixed Blazereaps incorrect orientation, the pick now faces forward like it was supposed to ・Fixed the missing "はぅ" (hau) expression eyelash texture. At some point they vanished without me noticing (Thanks Hinami) ・Fixed the the neck seam. I'm not sure how this slipped past me this whole time (Thanks Nosa) ・Marked Riko's blush material surface as transparent shadow. Eevee renders with her blush should look a lot cleaner now (Blender) ・Removed GoGoLoco as an optional dependency because it was causing confusion during the setup process.
