Lightsaber for DAZ Studio. Shaders are optimized for use with Iray render engine. Saber and Handle are separate. Saber was built with center emission cone with attached 3 geoshells with varying opacity. Made in Cinema4d, textured in Substance Painter. Polygon count: 31K (handle, saber and its geoshells) Texture size: 4K (handle only) Animatable: yes, you can change saber's size independently to handle Color variations: 5 - blue, red, green, purple, yellow Colors can be changed easily within Surface tab of Saber and it's geoshells.
Installation
Drop contents of "Content" folder into your library. Prop will be accessible under "Props/JustRadiation/LightSaber" in your Content manager. Just drop it to your scene, resize, and move to your liking. Parent to hand, so it can move with your figure.
Bloom Tip
Use Bloom in your render settings (located in render settings tab under filtering). For preview, I used those options: Bloom Filter Radius: 0.7 Bloom Filter Threshold: 70000 Bloom Filter Brightness Scale: 0.6 If your scene is bright, raise Threshold value.
