No weight-painting or special setup needed! The effect is quite nice and I'd like to thank VioletLavy for helping me get this system working! It is also thanks to them that this backpack has a beautiful spectrum effect on the back screen that reacts to audio. ^^ Backpack includes multiple blendshapes to help you fit to your avatar~ a perfect fit is no guarantee but beyond some possible clipping for some avatars it should be a good fit for most folks with a little adjusting!!
