VRoid base model that imitates a look of a Low-Poly model with pixel textures. Includes: - Stable VRoid file with model base - Custom VRoid items in case model base is missing parts - PSD + PNG of pixel textures - Instructions document
How to use / Tipps
- Open Vroid file in Vroid. - Stable Vroid is recommended as the base was made in that version! - Adjust the body proportions and textures to your liking - If you want to follow a low-poly look it is recommended to use low smoothness for the hair and flat textures. - Due to the 'chunkier' build of the base, it is recommended that clothes volume is set to over 100.000 - Alternatively you can skin mask/delete the textures in the areas the body clips into the clothes.
How to make/edit texture
To make from scratch: - Paint texture on VRoid studio and block out the colors. Alternatively you can shade it in detail in VRoid and 'bitcrunch' the texture afterwards. - Export Texture PNG from Vroid - Open in your preferred art software - Downscale to 256 x 256 in NEAREST NEIGHBOUR setting. - Paint your texture with a binary/pixel brush (if you are satisfied with the bitcrunch look of your downscaled texture you can skip this step) - Upscale x800 (2048 x 2048 pixels) in NEAREST NEIGHBOR setting to keep clean pixels. - Import Texture into VRoid texture edit To make from PSD Template: - Paint your texture in the template in your preferred art software. Symmetry tools are recommended. - Once finished, upscale texture x800 times (2048 x 2048 pixels) in NEAREST NEIGHBOR setting to keep clean pixels! - Import Texture into VRoid texture edit
