While some international antivirus engines (such as Bkav Pro) may flag it as a false positive, this is due to an overreaction to behaviors specific to executable files created in Python (such as the absence of a digital signature or file compression). The source code contains absolutely no malicious code, so please feel free to use it with confidence. If you see the following messages during download: “This file is not commonly downloaded” “This file may harm your PC” please follow the steps below to save the file. [Download Instructions] 1. Click the “...” menu next to the file displayed in the download list. 2. Select “Save” or “Keep.” 3. On the confirmation screen that appears, click “View details.” 4. Select “Keep” or “Run.” *Please note that the above is merely a warning from Microsoft Defender SmartScreen in Windows and does not indicate that the file is dangerous. Additionally, if you see a security warning at runtime stating that your PC has been protected because the “publisher is unknown,” this is because the software has just been distributed and the publisher information has not yet been registered. This warning appears only the first time you run the program; on subsequent runs, the warning will not appear unless you copy the file to a different location and run it from there. ---------------------------------------------------------------- About Sandwitch This is an image cropping application for Windows that I created to prepare portrait images for use in games. I have only verified operation on Windows 10 and 11. Its function is to import images, align them via drag-and-drop, and output them cropped to a specified shape. It offers only two effects, with an output size of 192x192 pixels PNG.
