This creature was born from my rough concept design for the Baku that appears in The Sutra of Pale Leaves. It became a sad (?) anecdote when the project leader Damon (who is my husband) rejected it, saying "Uh, this is way too cute, lol." Thus it became "Botsu (Reject) Baku-chan." The creature's frustrated creator managed to squeeze it in somewhere on the cover of The Sutra of Pale Leaves Volume 1. Please try to find it on the cover★
