There is no real limitation with this tool outside of VRChat limitations. Tutorial: (STEP ONE) -Take an animated .GIF and split it into .PNG frames, you can do this automatically at ezgif. https://ezgif.com/split -BE SURE TO SELECT OUTPUT AS PNG FROM THE DROPDOWN AS VRCHAT ONLY SUPPORTS .PNG FILES -Download frames as .zip. (STEP TWO) -Now with all the frames in a folder, drag it to your ASSETS folder of your UNITY PROJECT. (STEP THREE) -Drag the EDITOR folder to your ASSETS folder for your UNITY PROJECT. You can also just drag the script (.cs file) into your pre-existing Editor folder if your project already has one. (STEP FOUR) -Go to TOOLS at the top of UNITY. -Select VRChat Gif Avatar Maker. -Select the folder that contains all your still frames for your animation and generate the GIF at whatever FPS you desire. (STEP FIVE) -Add a VRChat descriptor and upload you're done.
