My parents aren’t there today.” The way they said it sounded strangely suggestive, and my thoughts started to wander, making my whole body feel restless. While fidgeting with their necklace, senpai said, “…So… wanna come over?” Their face was bright red, their voice trembling, yet their eyes were fixed firmly on me. “It’s not like I mean anything serious, okay? We can play games, and… um…” “I just… wanted to spend a little time together.” “…I’ll go.” For a moment, senpai looked surprised, then their face lit up. “Really? Then it’s decided.” That slightly teasing smile— just as expected, it was irresistibly cute. ⸻ This time, I tried a different printing method than usual…!! I’ve always wanted to try printing with white ink, but I kept putting it off because I couldn’t imagine how it would turn out, and it made me nervous ☺️ Even this time, I was really anxious since I couldn’t picture the final result, but I’m glad it turned out well ( ´ ` ) One thing I paid special attention to while drawing was that the parts of the balloon surface visible between the ink would become the “lines” of the illustration. So I made sure to draw the lines thicker to prevent them from getting crushed 🍀 Because I focused on keeping the lines from collapsing, the illustration ended up a bit simpler, but I’m still happy that it turned out cute ✨ 🎈 About the Balloons 🎈 This time, I used Qualatex 16” and Kalisan 18” balloons. For the Qualatex 16”, I prepared two crystal colors. Please note that the quantity is limited. Regarding the Qualatex balloons, they have been stored in a refrigerator. Because of this, the talc powder became damp due to condensation and has hardened in some areas. Some parts may appear white, but this does not affect the quality. As many of you may know, Qualatex has gone out of business, so these balloons are no longer available. I used some that I had carefully kept in my personal collection.
