Stiches is a PS1-style Vtuber model for streamers who want something with a lil personality. She's scuffed and melancholy, not quite sure how she came to be. Put together with parts not quite hers. Built for VTubers who want to stand out without paying those hefty commission prices. Works with: VNyan, Warudo, XR Animator, VSeeface, VmagicMirror Includes: VRM, FBX, .blend, textures, VNyan node setup, full user guide Kindly read the User Guide for the vtuber model before purchasing. It's very important for the Vtuber side of things. its also included with the purchase. Feel free to contact me in the comments or otherwise if you have any questions. Inside the download, there's a VRM file, Fbx file , .blend , the textures for the model, the VNYAN nodes, and a copy of the below user guide User Guide Hi, thank you for your interest in my model. This is a PS1 Vtuber avatar and Fbx model. There are a few things to know before you decide to buy, very important. First off, this model uses texture-based blendshape tracking. Big words. Basically means it's a single image texture that snaps to different expressions. This is great for that PS1 aesthetic. But with that, it also has some workarounds you need to be aware of. For most of the Vtuber software, the first thing to do would be to setup Lighting and expressions. Now, all these VTuber software have their own ambient light that reflects off the model. Especially Xr animator. So adjusting lighting to fit is always very handy to get the no-light look. Upping light intensity or bringing ambient lighting down to almost, but not quite, black. Second, for expressions, you need to set up your expressions, especially in Vseeface; But for all software that lets you. You need to set your expressions to not blink and disable mouth tracking. This is to prevent the cursed issue where you're in an expression, but then the model blinks, causing texture sliding that looks horrible. The included node setup fixes it for Vnyan. —-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The model has been tested with all major VTuber software, Vnyan, Warudo, XR Animator, Vseeface, and Vmagic mirror. All of them have hardware limitations thats a little hard to fix. Warudo, for instance, simply doesn't support auto blinking for this model as far as I can tell. You might be able to work it out with nodes, but it's beyond me. Apparently, it needs actual blendshapes in Blender attached to the model for it to work, which a texture-based tracking model doesn't have. Vseeface, I recommend lowering mouth sensitivity in the sidebar if you get random sliding mid-talking at random. It's not supposed to happen, but I have encountered it. This is what fixed it. You can also enable avatar locomotion if you want a more natural stance. You can use Vseeface normally, aside from the expression fixes. Xr animator - this one is both fine and annoying, depending on the day. Xr animator works fine, might need to disable auto expression detection, cuzz youll get sliding otherwise. Supports full-body tracking. Vnyan, This is the one I personally recommend for this model, the best by far, but for expressions, A proper Node setup is required. I have included my own in the download. I'm not the best with Nodes, but this is the best I could figure out. To note, with this node setup, you toggle expressions with the numpad, BUT you need to toggle back with the neutral key, num 5. If you don't, and you just enable and disable an expression, your face tracking won't work. So NUM 5 to enable tracking again. Vmagic mirror, I don't know if anyone uses this one, but it's not bad. just old. Deforms the model's shoulders for some reason. But the fix is simple: set body motion to Game locomotion, but disable the actual keys in game locomotion settings. Leaving you in a cool idle pose with face tracking. Also, if it's large and out of frame, you can click adjust size by VRM, then enable free camera movement to move the model to your liking. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That is it for the workarounds. Again, thank you for considering my model. If any issues or bugs show themselves, let me know, and I'll do my best to try to figure them out as much as possible. The PS1 workflow is very finicky, and some things are just not supported, but a lot of it I might be able to fix.
