In Japan as well, stories about animals living human-like lives have long been familiar, such as the children’s song “The Dog Policeman,” which features a lost kitten. However, animal characters designed only to be cute can sometimes be difficult to use in games focused on serious battles and adventures. That led to the idea behind this pack: “What if animals lived in the world of a fantasy RPG?” We imagined a world where animals wield swords and magic and live as soldiers, adventurers, and members of royalty, then created 30 characters suitable for a wide variety of roles.
