Hardlight Companion / ハードライトコンパニオン (VRChat Avatar With Physbones)
- 4,000 JPY
NOTE: The substance painter file is too big for BOOTH, so you need to contact my discord @HighCD#4782 and ask for it to get it. Special thanks to Dezzer for being my amazing photographer, you can find more of their work here: twitter.com/DezzerVR Join my server to follow my content creation and to show off your own work! I plan to do some discount code giveaways, and there's free stuff there too! https://discord.gg/kgPGKJfYTh Often manufactured on planets sprawling with the rich, these robots were made to take the place of a friendly room mate, maid, or helper. With their face plate providing a variety of different expressions, and their AI core rooted with minor sentience, to some people they have proven themselves to be true friends. This is a fun, expressive robot avatar made by myself. It even uses a specialized digi leg rig conceptualized by DragonSkyRunner (more on that here), but there is also a normal leg version of the avatar for those who don't like it. It was really fun to make, and I hope anyone who purchases enjoys it. Model Details: Tris: 62,382 Materials: 8 Physbone Components: 3 Skinned Meshes: 1 VRC Performance: Medium Quest Compatibility: Not innately supported, however you could probably port it to quest if you have the knowhow, albeit you would lose pretty much all the menu functions due to them all being rooted in Poiyomi What You Get: Hardlight Companion FBX (digi and non-digi). Blender file for digi and non-digi versions. Substance Painter file. Unity import file and scene for having the avatar ready to upload very quickly. How To Set Up: Create a new unity project. Import the VRChat SDK (must be a version with physbone update). Import Poiyomi Toon Shader. Import the Hardlight Companion files from the provided unity asset file and run the scene. (NOTE: Inside of unity, the face will appear to be missing and the emission will be red, but the FX layer will make the default face appear, and change default emission color to white in VRChat). Go to the upload section of the SDK and choose either the digi version (recommended) or non-digi version (not recommended). Avatar Features: Emission hue shift Due to the lighting of worlds being unpredictable, I have included a few radial menus that can control some of the material lighting aspects such as shadow strength, turning on casted shadows and basic emission. This makes the lighting of the avatar highly adjustable to any world lighting and personal preferences. A dark mode toggle for the avatar that makes the avatar more darkly colored and easier on the eyes if you don't like brighter whites. Voice parameter for visemes. Digi legs that function differently than how normal legs do, they can take a little time to get used to, also a non-digi versions for those that dislike it. Custom crouch and prone animation for non full-body users. My Terms: Do NOT upload this avatar publicly Don't claim work that isn't yours as your own. Don't attach any of my work to anything hateful. Don't redistribute this asset. Don't include this asset in another purchasable package. You may give this asset to an artist you are commissioning.
