Story Summary

During an uprising, Charm City's leader, the Almighty Jainko, was infected with Ark and had to leave the city he governed behind. Fair enough. He forced the rule for his people, he should suffer it. But Jainko didn't see it this way. He lingers around his city's outskirts. Stricken with muscular dystrophy, he spends his last days before spring as a beggar and freeloader with a kid named Boy, dog called Priest and an ex-soldier named D'arksider. And sees life from a different perspective.
