The universe is so vast that I can't help but wonder whether this tragedy that feels so personal to me is, in the end, just one event among countless others-and that thought leaves me feeling strangely hollow. Even so, I believe the universe can be fragile at times, yet also reassuring, offering a kind of compass for living. I will keep looking up at the sky and continue moving forward.
