生活の中にひそむ、ちっちゃないきものたち。 家のすみ、お店、日常の灯りのあるところにふと気づけばそこにいる——全く怖くもなく。 この作品では、”照明×ちっちゃないきもの”をテーマにしており、 特に日本照明の淡い光、ガラスににじむ光といった表現を大切にして描きました。 モチーフである照明とちっちゃないきものはそれぞれデフォルメレベルを変えて、 よりミスマッチが起こるよう意識しています。 額は、作品に対して少し不釣り合いな豪華なものを選びました。 額の格式に合わせ、デジタル版画の技法で出力しています。 また、より絵の質感が伝わるよう、表面処理加工の上、ガラス無しで額装しています。 そのギャップも楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。 Tiny creatures lurking within daily life. In the corners of homes, shops, wherever there's light—you might just notice them there, not frightening at all. This work centers on the theme of “Lighting × Tiny Creatures,” carefully depicting expressions like the soft glow of Japanese lighting and light diffused through glass. The lighting fixtures and tiny creatures, serving as motifs, are each stylized to varying degrees, consciously creating a sense of mismatch. Additionally, I deliberately chose frames that are slightly out of place for the works—elaborate ones. To match the frame's formality, the pieces are printed using digital print techniques. To better convey the texture of the painting, it has been framed without glass, following surface treatment processing. I hope you'll enjoy this contrast as well.
