The model consists of two parts: the Mengu (face guard) and the Tare (throat and neck protection). The Tobiho is a type of cheek guard that appeared from the Muromachi period onward and was also widely used as part of Tosei Gusoku, the full armor sets of the later samurai period. This highly detailed 3D model was created based on historical research and period-appropriate design. The male mannequin shown in the images was used only for checking dimensions during production.
