SOL-14 EQ High-precision parametric EQ for mixing and mastering. SOL-14 EQ is designed around a simple idea: keep the familiar parametric EQ workflow, but make the processing accurate, flexible, and dependable. It combines up to 16 EQ bands, dynamic processing, multiple phase modes, Mid/Side operation, advanced filter types, and a high-resolution spectrum analyzer — without turning the interface into a feature checklist. Key Features -Up to 16 EQ bands -Stereo / Mid / Side processing per band -Filter types: Bell Low Shelf High Shelf High Pass Low Pass Notch Butterworth Band Pass All Pass -HPF / LPF slope control: 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 / 36 / 48 / 72 / 96 dB/oct -Wide parameter ranges: Frequency: 20 Hz – 20 kHz Gain: ±36 dB Q: 0.025 – 50 -Four Phase Modes SOL-14 provides four different phase behaviors: Minimum — zero-latency IIR processing Mixed — combines minimum-phase and linear-phase characteristics Linear Linear High — higher-resolution linear-phase processing -All Pass filters include phase-response visualization in Minimum and Mixed modes. -Dynamic EQ Dynamic processing is available directly inside supported EQ bands. Cut / Boost operation Threshold Range Knee Hysteresis: 0–3 dB -Internal or external sidechain detection -Frequency-focused detector -Smooth continuous gain behavior -Hysteresis helps stabilize dynamic processing around the threshold, reducing unnecessary retriggering while preserving continuous gain movement. -High-Precision Spectrum Analyzer The built-in analyzer has been designed for both detailed inspection and practical mix decisions. 8k / 16k / 32k FFT resolution Display range: 60 dB 90 dB 120 dB 144 dB Integrated L / R M / S display modes -7-term Blackman-Harris window -FFT-size-specific coherent-gain compensation -3-point peak interpolation In internal numerical testing, maximum sine-wave amplitude error was approximately 0.005 dB. The 7-term Blackman-Harris window also greatly reduces spectral leakage when working with the wider 120 dB and 144 dB display ranges. Workflow SOL-14 is designed to keep advanced functions available without putting them in the way of normal EQ work. Double-click the graph to create a band Drag nodes directly for Frequency / Gain adjustment Mouse wheel control for Q -Per-band Solo -Delta monitoring -Auto Gain -Level-matched bypass option -A/B comparison with copy -Full Undo / Redo -Preset Save / Save As -Preset loading integrated into Undo / Redo history -Resizable interface -Multiple UI themes Formats Windows VST3 64-bit macOS AU / VST3 macOS 10.13 or later Intel and Apple Silicon AAX / Pro Tools is not supported.
