It can install and manage clothing entirely on its own, even when those tools are not installed in your project. If an outfit includes VRCFury or Modular Avatar components, Outfit Manager can remove them and continue using its own independent workflow. Missing scripts, broken components, corrupted setups, or incorrect configurations from the original creator will not stop the installation process. This self-contained workflow is designed for more reliable results and wider compatibility across avatars and outfits. Outfit Manager is a Unity tool for VRChat that automatically installs clothing onto avatars — fast, clean, and fully non-destructive. I've been developing this tool for a long time, and I plan to keep expanding it with more features over time. ✅ FEATURES: • Automatically installs clothes onto avatars • Optimizes clothing by removing unnecessary data that only increases avatar file size and reduces performance • Fully non-destructive — never modifies your original files or prefabs • Creates a copy with the clothes already installed, so you can always revert to a previous state • Simplifies version management • Works with PC, Quest, and iOS avatars • Full clothing control with fine adjustments for position, rotation, length, width, and thickness — perfect for adapting clothes not originally made for your avatar • NEW: Independent torso controls, allowing you to adjust the chest and hips without affecting the rest of the model • NEW: Three clothing installation modes — By Name, By Humanoid Rig, and By Position • Greatly expanded compatibility for clothing through its three bone-matching modes • Automatic error detection for both clothing and avatars, with integrated auto-fix • Available in English, Spanish, Japanese, German, Korean, and Simplified Chinese 🔧 CLOTHING INSTALLATION MODES: • By Name This mode compares the name of each clothing bone with the bones on the avatar and matches bones with the same name. It works especially well when the clothing was made for the same avatar or uses standard bone naming conventions. It is the ideal option when the clothing creator used a clean and consistent skeleton. • By Position This mode checks the position of each clothing bone and matches it with the closest corresponding bone on the avatar. A tolerance slider lets you decide the maximum allowed distance between bones. It works best when the clothing skeleton is based on the avatar's skeleton. For clothes made with a completely different skeleton, another mode may be more reliable. • By Humanoid Rig — Recommended This is the most reliable installation mode. It uses Unity's Humanoid Rig configuration to match clothing bones with the avatar's humanoid bones, so it does not depend on bone names or bone positions. For example, if a clothing bone named “C” is assigned to Hips in the Humanoid Rig, Outfit Manager will place that bone — and its unassigned child bones — under the Hips bone of your avatar. It also supports incomplete Humanoid Rigs, making it ideal for clothing that does not use the entire avatar skeleton.
