Ground Spikes Attack [VRChat]

A Ground Spike effect that uses VRLabs' Raycasting package and the FinalIK package. The effect creates a wall of spikes in front of the user which can have its trajectory altered left and right by looking in the corresponding directions as they are coming out of the ground. Since it uses raycasting, the spikes will seamlessly move up and down sloped terrain and rotate accordingly to adjust to the angle of the surface they are on! The spikes also have randomized rotations so that they feel more lively, as opposed to each spike being oriented in the exact same way!

The folder contains the following: 1x Ground Spikes Prefab 1x Spike FBX Model 3x Animations 1x Parameter List 1x Animator Controller 2x Demonstration Videos 4x Additional Guidance / Instruction Images 1x ReadMe Document The prefab includes a mesh particle system that uses raycasting to seamlessly move up and down sloped surfaces! Simply place the prefab onto your avatar's hierarchy and VRCFury will do the rest! The package comes with a template spike, and instructions on how to change the model and material of the spike if you so wish to. Please note that disabling the entire prefab with an animation may cause issues, so please leave it on and rely on the prefab itself doing the work for you! Additional features include an audio source on the prefab that you can place a sound inside of which will follow the front spike as the wall comes out!
