It's a convenient way for people who are not talkative or want to overcome language barriers. The number of full hearts represents how your mood is, while their color indicates the type of mood you're in. Unfortunately, the asset doesn't read your mind, so you configure your mood through the radial menu. The configuration is discrete and visible only to you. However, when someone touches the asset, it becomes visible to everyone. The first touch reveals all the hearts, and the next touch displays the emotion board. Additionally, the asset will automatically show hearts without the board, and you can set the frequency yourself in the controller. By default, the asset uses the color scheme shown on the preview and includes text options in English, Japanese, and a combined version. It also provides an .afphoto and .psd file for easy color customization.
