[Launch Sale] Normal version: ¥800→¥500 Commercial version: ¥1,200→¥1,000 [PC ONLY | Does NOT work on Quest / Android] 日本語:https://ktjp.booth.pm/items/8821539 Even if your vision gets hijacked, you can recover within seconds and report the offender. This is an emergency defensive gimmick that protects only your own view. ※This does NOT “completely prevent” vision hijacking. It is a mitigation tool designed to buy you time to respond after your vision has been hijacked. ■ Who is this for? ・You’re worried about getting your vision hijacked while streaming or recording videos ・You want to visit events or public instances with greater peace of mind ・You’ve been hit by a vision hijack before ・You just want to make a powerful avatar ・You don’t like how other people’s shaders get degraded when relying solely on VRChat’s built-in Safety features ■ What does it do? When you turn on the toggle in the menu, a neutral “Panic Shield” is rendered only in your own view using Unity’s maximum Render Queue (5000) and ZTest Always. Even when the attack uses the same Queue, the head—the side closer to the camera—is rendered later, causing the shield to appear on top and cover the attack effect. A guide showing the steps for blocking and reporting the offender is also displayed at the top of the screen. In other words, it’s a gimmick that lets you “overwrite a vision hijack with another vision hijack.” ◆ For you only: It is never rendered in other players’ views, cameras, or shared mirrors. The shield is precisely fixed to the avatar’s View Position (eye position), and it will not render if the rendering camera is approximately 0.15 m or more away from that position (= it will not appear to anyone other than the wearer). A camera-type gate (handheld camera / screenshots) and a mirror gate are also used together for additional protection. ◆ Zero synced parameter usage: Only local (non-synced) parameters are used. ◆ Non-destructive: Everything is handled using Modular Avatar + a small NDMF plugin. The Avatar Descriptor is not modified. ◆ Tested compatibility: Screen-space shaders with Render Queues from 2000 to 5000, including Overlay, Overlay+N, and Cancerspace-style shaders → Can be mitigated (the shield covers them). ◆ Blend mode (alpha / additive) and ZTest differences: → No effect. The shield remains on top in both cases. ■ Limitations (Please check before purchasing) ◆ No absolute guarantee Its behavior depends on VRChat’s transparent rendering/sorting system. Future updates may change how it behaves. ◆ Close-range exception If another player presses their face to within 15 cm of your eye position and renders at the same Queue, the distances become too close to reliably determine the rendering order, which may cause unstable behavior. ◆ PC (Windows) only VRChat only allows Android/Quest avatars to use the shaders included with the SDK. Therefore, this does not work on Quest (the shader will be disabled). ◆ Disabled while shaders are blocked If your own Safety settings have “Block Shaders” enabled, this shader will also fall back to Standard and the feature will not work. Non-shader-based attacks are not covered. For things such as massive particle effects, blinding lights, or extremely loud audio, please use VRChat’s built-in Safety features. Please make sure to use VRChat’s standard Safety features appropriately as well (Block Shaders / Hide Avatar / Block User). ■ Installation (PC) 1. Drag and drop NoVisionJack/Runtime/NoVisionJack.prefab directly underneath your avatar. 2. Upload your avatar as-is. No additional configuration is required. 3. In VRChat’s Expressions Menu, go to NoVisionJack → Vision Hijack Shield to toggle it ON/OFF. Under Advanced Settings, “Force Display on All Cameras” is a fallback option for cases where the shield does not appear in your main view due to issues with VRChatCameraMode, such as while streaming. When enabled, the shield will also appear in your own camera and screenshots. ■ How to use it when your vision is hijacked 1. From the Action Menu / Quick Menu, go to NoVisionJack → Vision Hijack Shield and turn it ON. 2. The shield will cover your view. Open the VRChat menu while the shield is active (the menu will appear in the foreground). 3. Select the offending user and Block / Report them. 4. If you need evidence, take a screenshot with the VRChat camera (the shield will not appear in the shot). 5. Calmly leave the instance. 6. Once the situation has settled down, turn the shield OFF. ■ Tested Environment Unity 2022.3.22f1 VRChat SDK 3.10.5 NDMF 1.14.8 Modular Avatar 1.18.7 AAO Trace and Optimize Tested: Shinano (https://booth.pm/ja/items/6106863) Manuka (https://booth.pm/ja/items/5058077) Rurune (https://booth.pm/ja/items/5957830) Kipfel (https://booth.pm/ja/items/5813187) Kikyo (https://booth.pm/ja/items/3681787) Miltina (https://booth.pm/ja/items/6538026) (In theory it should work with most avatar bases and avatars) ■ License ・Normal version: You may use and modify the product for your own avatar.
