The theme is Japan from the late Edo period to the Taisho era, a time of major social change and rapid modernization. By placing eerie yokai monsters alongside characters shaped by that changing era, we aimed to create a mood that feels a little different from our usual Japanese-themed packs—more unsettling, mysterious, and touched by the shadows of modernization. While still rooted in Japanese aesthetics, this lineup also carries the atmosphere of ghost stories, urban legends, and a world caught between tradition and change.
