Windows Only Normal Relight Normal Relight is a real-time relighting plugin for After Effects. It automatically generates height-field and normal-map data from any 2D layer (illustrations, texture maps, UI icons, etc.), and applies up to two adjustable lights, ambient light, specular highlights, rim light, self-shadowing, and cel (toon) shading — giving flat artwork a convincing sense of three-dimensional lighting. The plugin can also output standalone Normal Map data layers, which can be exported directly for use in Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Unity, and other 3D tools. This plugin needs to be paired with a depth map to achieve the best results, so the video is the outcome of using it together with another plugin "Depth Estimate".
