Op-amp: A general-purpose op-amp is fitted as standard. It sits in a socket, so it can be replaced without soldering. === Compatibility, Difficulty, & Requirements === Compatibility: Exclusive to the Famicom first model (without the "FF" mark). Not compatible with the second model, the New Famicom, or the Twin Famicom. Difficulty: Intermediate. Soldering skills and a basic understanding of PCB architecture are required. Tools & Parts: A screwdriver, a soldering iron, RCA cables, and a USB Type-C cable with a power source. None of these are included. === Recommended For === Players who want to connect an RF-only Famicom to a modern TV or capture device. Those who want the expansion audio of compatible cartridges to come through clearly, on its own channel.
