Rin is a low-poly witch that turns into a Fumo when scaled small and becomes ethereal when scaled large. Features: - Good rank on PC, and Medium or Poor rank on Quest/Mobile. - Changes into a Fumo when scaled down to 0.5 metres, and enters a fractured, ghostlike form when scaled up to 1.2 metres. Each of these forms can also be manually chosen, ignoring the avatar scale. - 4 colour swaps to choose between, with unique sound effects for each form and style change. - A toggleable wand that functions as a pen. Use the fist gesture to draw, and the rock gesture to clear. - Glow-in-the-dark eyes. - [PC] AudioLink support, with glowing gold rims and ethereal fractures according to the world theme, and outline pulsing. Even the wand trails react! - [PC] Integrates with ToN Save Manager to colour-match the gold rims with the Terror Colour in Terrors of Nowhere. (HSV colour) - Includes experimental VRCFT support for simple 2D face tracking. (Please note, this approximates the face shape using the viseme and eyelook textures and may not be very accurate) - The witch hat has nice physics. - Comes with GoGo Loco All already set-up for both PC and Android. PC rank is Good: - 2 Skinned Mesh Renderers. (5237 triangles) - 2 Particle Systems. - 1 Trail Renderer. - 5 Material Slots. - 6 PhysBone Components, 21 Transforms. - 2 Audio Sources. Mobile rank is Poor or Medium depending on the prefab, with the following changes: - No Audio Sources - 4 Material Slots (Medium prefab: 2) - 1 Particle System (Medium prefab: None) - 1 Trail Renderer (Medium prefab: None) - Most shader effects are not present (AudioLink, ethereal fractures/glowing, outlines)
Setup
- Make sure you have VRCFury imported and that you're using at least VRChat SDK 3.8.1. - If you'd like to edit the shaders, import the Poiyomi Toon Shader. Rin uses version 9.2. - Import the package for Rin. - Open the scene inside the "rin" directory. - Set up the avatar upload info in the VRChat SDK panel. - There is a camera set up in the scene to create a nice thumbnail, if you would like to use it set the Custom Camera to "thumbnail-camera". - Upload! If all goes well you should see Rin in your avatars menu once it finishes.
Terms of Service
- Public uploads and edits are allowed. Be creative! - Porting the avatar to platforms other than VRChat is allowed. - Do not distribute the files to other people who don't own them. - Do not use this character in mature or adult contexts. - For promotional usage or content where the character is a central component, please contact me first.
Update information
v1.2 - All variants are now prefabs. - Updated PC materials to Poiyomi 9.2, supporting VRCLightVolumes. - Updated Mobile body material to Toon Standard, adding eye emissions. - Pack-in GoGoLoco All instead of Beyond. - Updated package requirements: (SDK 3.8.1, Poiyomi 9.2) v1.1 - BOOTH release: - There are now two Android versions: the original Medium Rank, and a Poor Rank variant with the wand drawing added. - Due to the above, the check preventing the wand from drawing on PC when worn by an Android user has been removed. Keep this in mind when using the Medium Android avatar. - The colour of the magic trails and ethereal fractures now changes to match the selected style.
