On the front cover, frogs wearing white coats and traditional headbands are hard at work among old wooden medicine cabinets, glass bottles, and herbal remedies. They weigh ingredients, prepare medicines, and seem to be taking their jobs surprisingly seriously. But turn the notebook over... On the back cover, things are a little different. Are they finished for the day? Or are they still supposed to be working? Some frogs are relaxing outside with handheld fans, some are drinking tea, and others have simply stretched out for a rest. The two covers create a small story: Front — frogs at work. Back — frogs taking it easy. The front uses a colorful Showa-retro palette, while the back has a faded blue-gray and light sepia tone reminiscent of an old photograph. Look closely and you will find many details inspired by nostalgic Japanese shops — wooden pharmacy shelves, indigo noren curtains, traditional herbal medicine bottles, and old-fashioned signs.
