If you've ever felt the barrier of language while exploring worlds, C2T is here to help. This tool bridges the gap between your virtual experience and understanding by bringing translations directly into your VR space.
What C2T does
■ SteamVR HUD Overlay Translates and projects text directly into the 3D space of your SteamVR environment. HUD position (X, Y, Z), scale, opacity, and alignment are configurable via the application. ■ Screenshot Monitoring & OCR Monitors the specified VRChat screenshot directory. When a new screenshot is detected, the system extracts text using the EasyOCR engine and translates it using the selected engine. ■ Translation Engines Supports Google Translate (web-based) and DeepL API. Supported OCR datasets include Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified).
How to Use
1. Directory Setup: Select your VRChat screenshot folder in the "System" tab. 2. HUD Calibration: Adjust the coordinate map in the "HUD Configuration" tab to set the text position in VR. 3. Service Initialization: Click "Initialize Service". Note that OCR models (approx. 100-300MB) will be downloaded to the 'models' folder upon the first run. 4. Operation: Taking a screenshot in-game will trigger the OCR and display the translation in your VR view.
System Requirements
- Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) - Active SteamVR runtime - Internet connection (required for translation APIs and initial model download)
