A free tool that only creates "head profile" JSON files for Hair Retargeter (the Unity Editor extension that fits any hairstyle onto any avatar). Hair authors, avatar authors and avatar owners can create head-shape data (JSON) from their own avatars and share it without owning Hair Retargeter. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ■ What is a head profile? ・A small JSON file that records an avatar's head shape as radii in 2,112 directions (64 × 33), format HairRetargeter.Head/1 ・Hair Retargeter uses it to fit hair onto another avatar even when the original avatar is not in the scene ・It contains no mesh, texture or bones. Only the numbers describing the head shape ■ What it does ・Drag a Humanoid avatar in and press "Create profile (JSON)" ・Automatic detection of head / face renderers (animal ears, horns, hats and hair are excluded by default; adjustable with checkboxes) ・Shows the number of measured directions, the head width, excluded triangles and interpolation warnings ・Same measurement code as Hair Retargeter, so the profiles match the quality of the bundled Kikyo / Shinano profiles ・Works alongside Hair Retargeter or on its own ■ Who it is for ・Hair authors: bundle profile JSON files of the supported avatars with your hair so buyers can move it to other avatars with Hair Retargeter ・Avatar authors: publish a profile of your avatar so unsupported hairstyles can be fitted to it ・Owners: make a profile of your own avatar for hair swaps (Hair Retargeter can also do this in one click) ■ How to use 1. Import HairProfileMaker_v1_0_0_EN.unitypackage 2. Open Tools > Hair Retargeter > Profile Maker 3. Place a Humanoid avatar in the scene in a neutral pose and drag it into the window (the head and face are measured with their current BlendShape values) 4. Check the detected head / face renderers, enter a profile name and press "Create profile (JSON)" 5.
