English Description

WORKING FROGS — KAERU GAS STATION Somewhere in a Showa-era Japanese town stands a slightly worn-out little gas station called Kaeru Gasoline. The frogs who work here are very busy. Or at least… they would like you to believe that. On the front cover, everything looks perfectly professional. One frog is pumping gas. Another is checking a car. Tools are out, tires are stacked, and everyone appears to be doing something important. A hardworking gas station crew. Very impressive. Then you turn the notebook over. And suddenly… Nobody seems particularly interested in working anymore. One frog is lying down. Another is eating snacks. Someone appears to have forgotten that this is still a workplace. Perhaps they’re on their lunch break. Perhaps their lunch break started three hours ago. We may never know. The design is packed with nostalgic details inspired by old Japanese gas stations—weathered signs, vintage fuel pumps, old cars, oil cans, tires, tools, and all the wonderfully cluttered things you might expect to find around a small Showa-era service station. The front cover also features a retro-style “Kaeru Gasoline Work Log” label, inspired by old Japanese workplace notebooks. Use it for work notes, a diary, ideas, hobby records, sketches, or your own carefully documented break schedule. Work a little. Rest a little longer. That’s how things are done at Kaeru Gasoline. Another not-so-productive day in the Working Frogs Work Log Series. This product is manufactured by pixivFACTORY. Product images are for illustrative purposes.
