FORGOTTEN JAPAN | THE LOST ONSEN TOWN Once a lively mountain hot spring town filled with travelers, glowing ryokan inns, souvenir shops, and the sounds of people passing through. Years have gone by. Returning after a long absence, the town is now quiet. The old ryokan buildings still line the rain-washed streets, but the crowds and lively atmosphere of the past are gone. This A5 ring notebook tells the story of two moments in the same place — the present and the memories that remain. The front cover depicts the onsen town as it appears today, quiet and seemingly frozen in time. The back cover looks back on happier days, featuring old photographs that evoke memories of youthful trips and a time when the town was still bustling with visitors. Even when a place is forgotten, someone's memories may still remain there. A little nostalgic, a little bittersweet, yet somehow warm — FORGOTTEN JAPAN is a series inspired by disappearing landscapes of Japan and the memories they leave behind.
