The Black Hole Physics Asset is now available for VRChat worlds! This customizable UdonSharp system creates a powerful suction zone that can pull physics objects toward a central point, send them spiraling into orbit, and optionally consume and respawn them. It can also be configured to pull players, making it useful for traps, hazards, minigames, supernatural effects, space environments, and interactive world events. What It Can Do Pull Rigidbody objects toward the black hole Increase the pull strength as objects get closer Add an optional swirling or orbital motion Limit object speed to keep the physics controlled Ignore objects currently held by players Filter affected objects using Unity layers Optionally pull the local player Configure horizontal-only or full 3D player movement Add player orbit, vertical lift, and distance-based acceleration Consume objects that reach the event horizon Automatically restore consumed objects after a configurable delay Respawn synchronized objects using VRCObjectSync Optionally respawn players who reach the center Fully Customizable Nearly every part of the effect can be adjusted directly from the Unity Inspector. Control settings such as: Pull strength Maximum speed Suction falloff Swirl strength Event-horizon distance Object respawn delay Player acceleration and deceleration Player pull speed Player lift and vertical movement Affected object layers Maximum tracked objects You can create anything from a gentle gravitational field to an aggressive black hole that rapidly pulls nearby objects and players into its center. Object Consumption and Respawning Objects that reach the center can either remain active or be temporarily consumed. When object consumption is enabled, the system can: Hide the consumed object Wait for a configurable delay Respawn objects using VRCObjectSync Return unsynchronized objects to their original position Use an optional custom respawn location This makes the system reusable without permanently removing your world’s interactive objects. Performance Options The asset includes configurable performance features designed to avoid unnecessary background processing.
