At head office, the replies are coming in. One salon has counted its usable towels; another has a delivery still on the way. As you work through the numbers, there are targets to check, quantities to subtract, and figures to copy into your replenishment list. Then a store sends a correction, and you find yourself checking the totals again. The Salon Towel Replenishment Summary is an Excel workbook designed to make this small but detailed task easier to work through. It brings one replenishment round for one towel item into a single sheet, with one row per store. You enter each store's target, usable towel count, and the quantity already arranged but not yet received, alongside the report date and supporting information. The sheet is designed to show the additional quantity needed for each store and a total across all stores. Imagine a salon aiming to keep 100 towels on hand. It has 60 usable towels and 10 more already on the way, leaving 30 to arrange. If the salon corrects its usable count to 70, you update that entry in the same row, bringing the additional quantity down to 20. Keeping incoming towels in the calculation helps you account for arrangements already made. A missing store reply is treated as unanswered, rather than as a stock count of zero. When you review the next distribution, the individual store quantities and overall total are there together. The aim is to give you less recalculating and copying to do, and a clearer starting point for deciding what to arrange next.
