The conventional reproductions were printed with reticulated dots, but now they are available in a new giclee (digital lithograph) version as miniature original reproductions (limited to 100 pieces). The miniature reproductions, hand-finished by skilled and exclusive artisans, are extremely faithful in detail to the originals. The outer size is an octavo (303 mm x 242 mm) for easy collection. 鉛筆画『黒鋼の咆哮、蒼穹に刻む意志ー戦艦 長門・陸奥・日向・伊勢ー』（月刊『世界の艦船』（2025年9月号の表紙へ描きおろし） Pencil Drawing titled “The Roar of Black Steel, Will Engraved in the Blue Sky: Battleships Nagato, Mutsu, Hyuga, and Ise” （Monthly “Ships of the World” (Cover illustration for the September 2025 issue)） 縦構図の表紙にどう収めるかという点が非常に難しく、トリミングする形となりました。誌面に全体像も収録されています。こちらでもご紹介します。 先頭の長門の発砲に呼応して後続艦が発砲しているので、そのわずかな時間差で発砲焔の様子が異なるように描いています。また敵艦隊の動きに応じて変針しているので、最後尾の伊勢が転舵中である点にも注目。それぞれの艦がピッチングしている様子も表現しています。 I created a pencil drawing titled “The Roar of Black Steel, Will Engraved in the Blue Sky: Battleships Nagato, Mutsu, Hyuga, and Ise” for the cover of the September 2025 issue of the monthly magazine “Ships of the World.” It was very difficult to fit it into the vertical layout of the cover, so we ended up cropping it. The entire image is also included in the magazine. I introduce it here as well. In response to the firing of the lead battleship Nagato, the following ships are firing, so I am depicting the difference in the appearance of the gunfire based on that slight time difference. In response to the movements of the enemy fleet, the Japanese fleet is also changing course, so note that the rear ship, the Ise, is turning. The pitching of each ship is also depicted.
