原画の質感そのままに、お求めやすい太子サイズ（379㎜×288㎜）にて製作。お好みの額装をしていただけるよう、マット仕上げしたものをＯＰＰ包装してお届けします。 商品の売り上げはすべて帝国海軍ゆかりの神社への奉納活動に充てさせていただきます。 注：商品上には文字は乗りません 注：価格は送料込・税込です。 「那智」は、妙高型重巡洋艦2番艦として昭和3（1928）年に就役しました。艦名は和歌山県の那智山に由来します。 　昭和3（1928）年11月26日に呉海軍工廠で竣工した「那智」は、同年12月4日、横浜沖での御大礼特別観艦式に参加し、大日本帝国海軍が誇る最新鋭1万トン級巡洋艦として世界に紹介されました。また昭和4（1929）年の昭和天皇国内行幸では5月28日に横須賀軍港から八丈島までの間で御召艦を務め、以後は供奉艦として「長門」と共に行動。更にその翌年10月26日に神戸沖で行われた特別大演習観艦式でも姉妹艦たちと共に供奉艦を務めるなど、「那智」は多くの栄誉に恵まれた艦でした。 　昭和16（1941）12月8日の日米開戦以降、「那智」は、第5戦隊の構成艦として蘭印方面で作戦行動につきました。翌2月28日、スラバヤ沖でカレル・ドールマン少将率いるABDA連合軍艦隊と交戦し、旗艦「デ・ロイテル」、「ジャワ」を撃沈しました。3月10日、「那智」は蘭印部隊から北方部隊に編入され、第5艦隊旗艦としてアリューシャン作戦のため大湊を出航、以後は北方海域で行動しました。昭和18（1943）年3月27日のアッツ島沖海戦では敵艦隊の撃破に失敗、「那智」は米韓の砲撃を受け小破。横須賀での修理改装を経て再び北方での作戦行動に就きました。 　昭和19年10月25日、捷一号作戦中、スリガオ海峡夜戦において志摩艦隊旗艦として西村艦隊を追ってスリガオ海峡に突入、先行して突入した西村艦隊が壊滅し残存艦が反転避退する中、「最上」と衝突、艦首を破損してしまいました。結局突入は断念され、「那智」はコロンを経てマニラへ。11月5日、米空母「レキシントン」艦載機による空襲を受け多数の爆弾、魚雷が命中、乗員807名と共にその生涯を閉じました。 　作品はアッツ島沖海戦後に修理と改装を終えて、再び北方海域に戻った「那智」が、操艦訓練を行っているシーンをイメージしたものです。昭和18年9月20日に撮影された写真を参考にして制作しました。背景に靄がかかる島は幌筵島です。 　本作品は、令和元年11月24日、同艦の艦内神社分霊元である「熊野那智大社」へ奉納されました。 High quality copy. Size: 379㎜×288㎜ The Nachi was heavy cruiser, the second ship of the Myoko class, commissioned in Showa 3 (1928). She was named for the Nachi mountain in Wakayama Prefecture. Completed on November 26th Showa 3 (1928) at Kure Naval Arsenal, the Nachi participated in the Imperial Accession Special Naval Review in Yokohama bay on December 4th of the same year, she was proudly introduced to the world as modern 10,000 ton type cruiser. In Showa 4 (1929) During an Imperial tour of the Japanese islands, she bore the Emperor from Yokosuka military harbor to Hachijo island where he transferred to the Nagato. Afterwards, she escorted Nagato on the tour, the Nachi gained great honor in this activity. After the beginning of the war against America on December 8th Showa 16 (1941) the Nachi was part of the 5th squadron attacking the Dutch East Indies. On February 28th, the ABDA combined fleet under Rear Admiral Karel Doorman was encountered off Surabaya, The flagship De Ruyter and the cruiser Java were sunk. On March 10th, she was transferred from the Dutch East Indies to the Northern Fleet, became the flagship for the Aleutians operation, and remained in the northern fleet. On March 27th Showa 18 (1943) she failed in an attack on the American fleet, the Nachi took some shell hits. She was repaired at Yokosuka and returned to the Northern Fleet. On the 25th of October Showa 19 as part of the Operation Sho-Ichigo as the flagship of Admiral Shima’s group, following Admiral Nishimura’s group, when Admiral Nishimura’s group reversed course she collided with the Mogami, damaging her bow. Giving up on further participation in the battle, Nachi proceeded to Manila via Coron. On the 5th of November she was attacked by aircraft from the aircraft carrier Lexington, and after receiving many bomb and torpedo hits she was lost, along with 807 members of her crew. This work shows her after being repaired from the Attu operation, the Nachi is undergoing training after returning to the Northern Fleet. I relied upon a photo taken on September 20th Showa 18 to make this work. The island with the clouds in the background is Paramushir. This work was dedicated to the Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine, the shrine which had shared its patron deity with the shrine onboard the heavy cruiser Nachi on the first year of Reiwa November 24th.
