She leaves the city by car in the early morning, heads for the coast, spends the day diving alone, and ends her evening relaxing in a hot spring. There are no major incidents and no missions to complete—only a day devoted entirely to something she loves, revealing a quieter and more personal side of Karen. The poems are shaped by everything that has defined her throughout her stories: her experiences and relationships, her strong sense of responsibility, her calm and observant nature, and the more relaxed side of her personality that simply loves the sea and diving. With all of this in mind, each piece explores what Karen herself might feel when standing before the ocean, what she might notice beneath the surface, and what words she might choose to express those moments. AI was used as a creative support tool during the production of this work, with access to Karen’s established character settings, previous stories, personality, manner of speaking, and behavioral tendencies. However, this is not a work in which the story was simply left for a machine to create. Building upon the character of Karen that has been developed over time, along with the changing scenery and emotions of a single day, the words were refined through repeated dialogue and revision to bring them closer to what Karen herself might truly say and feel in each moment.
